The South African Schools Football Association (SASFA) aims to promote, advance, administer, co-ordinate and generally encourage the development of the game of football in South Africa in accordance with the principles as laid down in the Statutes of SAFA and FIFA.
In the growth of schools football in South Africa, we consider and establish rules to control football development in South Africa.
We seek to establish and enforce the Laws of the Game as promulgated by FIFA from time to time and to protect the game against any form of abuse.
SASFA's role is to initiate, negotiate, arrange finance and control tours and matches of school teams to and from South Africa.
SASFA aims to settle disputes arising between members or bodies or persons connected directly or indirectly with football within the jurisdiction of SASFA.
Recognize the importance in raising and administering the funds of SASFA in such a manner as SASFA may deem advisable and in particular by means of subscriptions, donations and sponsorship's.

In line with African Renaissance and Global Peace and good human relations and creation of participation opportunities for learners and officials, SASFA participates in the following events in Africa and throughout the world:

ISF Schools World Cup bi-annual basis
