The landscape of the beautiful game will never be the same again after the bowing of our esteemed Mr Petrus Rantlai Molemela from this part of the world.

The SA Schools Football Association wishes to convey its heartfelt and sincere condolences to the Molemela Family and the entire Siwelele family. Ntate Molemela was synonymous with development and he did not shy from working with developmental structures such as organized Schools Football under the aegis of SASFA & its predecessor USSASA Football.

“We are engulfed in a dark cloud as we mourn the sad passing on of Mr Molemela who has mentored a number of our officials that are today astute administrators in Football the likes of Shuping ‘Tiger’ Seboko current Mangaung SAFA Region & Chief Education Specialist and other educators like Sello Nduna whom he gave an opportunity to horn his media relations skills with the club and the list of our officials that benefited from his wisdom is very long to mention. The list is endless” said a devasted Mandla ‘Shoes’ Mazibuko the President of SASFA.

Organized schools football benefited immensely from him as a leader as he gave a number of our protégés like the National Coach Molefi Ntseki who was attached to the Harmony Academy and look at him today. He also took under his wings some of our products and gave them the chance to darn the green and white jersey. We speak of the Madidilane’s, Lerato Manzini’s, Kamohelo Wolff, Kamohelo Mabuya, Tumelo Nhlapho & Bongani Mpandle & Thabang Matuka, the list is endless

“We will honor his legacy in a special way when SASFA hosts the Copa Coca – Cola National Finals at the Rantlai Molemela Stadium in October 2017 as a tribute to the sterling role ntate has played in the advancement of the beautiful game” added Mr Mandla ‘Shoes’ Mazibuko.

May his legacy continue to rub off in the beautiful game.
